In order to become a licensed New Mexico Journeyman you must have a minimum of two years of experience under a licensed New Mexico contractor (If applying for the JE98, 4 years experience is required). You are not allowed to verify your own work experience. Your two years of verifiable experience must be within the past ten years. Your experience has to be hands on experience covering all aspects of the trade.
