| Once you have successfully passed all of the required exams you can submit an application to the state-licensing agency to apply for the license. Submitting the application will consist of the application itself, a state tax identification number, a contractor's license bond, your license fees, and corporate documents if you are incorporating. Once all of the documents and fees are received, the state-licensing agency will process your license. As long as everything is correct on the application, you will be issued your New Mexico State Contractor's License. | ![]() |
